The stomach flu was wild and rampant in the Detroit area this week. The stomach flu was wild and rampant in our house this week too. Needless to say, not a lot of sewing got done. The one garment I did make was the Saunio Cardigan by Named Clothing , which was my Project #SewMyStyle make for February. This pattern was super easy to construct, and I loved the outcome. You can read more about this project here , and I’ve included a few pictures below. I loved the fabric I selected- stretch terry. I can’t wait to make something else in this material! It’s super soft, medium-weight has a beautiful hand and was a good choice for this pattern.

The other occurrence this week was the decision to change the #SewSnap format. After two months of posting daily, I have come to the conclusion that my work/travel schedule makes it hard to keep up. I will still be posting unique sewing images; however, they will be connected to #SewSnap and not necessarily posted daily. You can check out my portfolio of these original pictures here and I look forward to adding to this regularly.
